WORKING
EXPERIENCE
As you can imagine, I was more than thrilled to spend my working days selling jewellery from reputable brands including Vivienne Westwood, Swarovski, Heaven Mayhem and Phoria, and interacting with the buyers and founders of the later two (lovely ladies by the way).
I was present here during the Christmas season. I exercised my ability to remain calm and thrived under pressure, utilising every customer’s experience to benefit all parties.
I was top performing in my team the two months here, hitting all my KPIs. Subsequently, Selfridges offered me a permanent contract (which I graciously accepted) and I was moved to The Denim Studio in January 2026.

Although short, I loved my time in VS. My first job in retail!
Beyond eager to get to work in London, I ensured my start date was times up with my moving weekend.
In charge of my own KPIs and clienteling, my time at VS aided in my development and understanding of sales and consumer behaviours, skills which led to an offer working within upmarket department store, Selfridges.
My attentive and understanding attitude helped customers feel at ease, something very important in such an intimate environment.
I’ll forever miss wearing that pink measuring tape.
My first job!
I’ve always had the drive to work, so upon finishing my GCSE’s, I couldn’t wait to hand out my first (not very established) CV.
L’ulivo is my hometowns local, authentic, Italian restaurant. Here I built my customer service skills, learnt how to reflect a company’s brand through my service, and I learnt what a night shift was…
I began in The Corner Store, which at the time was filled with the Selfridges X Disney collaboration! If you’re familiar with Selfridges you’ll understand that this section is a permanent popup space.
Aside from general, day to day sales, I would tend to guests attending influencer events which the corner store hosted in the period it was open.
This collaboration is one of Selfridges biggest and no doubt their proudest, so my awareness of the target audience which this collaboration was forecasted to present was key, especially when interacting with press.
Here, I began to developing my sales skills of high and luxury fashion.

Let’s talk about my work in retail first... the fun stuff.
Continuing work within high and luxury fashion has developed my recognition of consumer behaviours, allowing my service to be instantly personable and adapted to the customer. I’ve delivered increasingly positive results for Selfridges through my sales and customer relations.
Meeting so many people in this reputable store has driven my desire to network and connect with professionals.
I’ve learned a great deal to offer regarding luxury fashion and consumer behaviours, and I yearn to take the next step in my career into a more people-focused role, such as PR, where I can build on these skills.

Pursuing the prestige, I began work at one of Cheshires most luxurious countryside hotel spas.
I served affluent clientele and continued to build on portraying brand identity through my service and ensured the luxurious experience was extended to each and every customer.
Hospitality taught me some really fundamental skills. Skills which have been key in the development of my personable skills, both professionally and socially.

Leaving hospitality, I moved into a more active service role where I was primarily in-charge of parties!
I worked mainly birthday parties, and here I learnt more about bringing the fun and the energy into work, while making sure parents were satisfied and children were safe and happy.
My personable and upselling skills were highlighted after they contributed towards our location being presented with awards for exceeding our expected performance KPI's.
Defiantly one of my funnier jobs!
EXTRA EXPERIENCE
Non fashion related collaborations and volunteering!
I collaborated with the Cheshire East Police to raise awareness for Anti-violence involving the GMP’s Forever Amnesty campaign
My part involved my creative side, painting windows around Crewe alongside three other people. We succeeded in our aim to spread awareness, and my art has been featured on social media from the attention it drew!

I was a key member of the Mental Health Guidance Councillor student interview panel, working alongside the NHS Lead for Mental Health in recruiting a new role to the collage and 5 additional educational establishments across the Northwest!
The top 6 which I put forward were concurred and agreed upon by the NHS, ultimately being given the position.
